He returns to the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, and Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin. He also appears with the Wiener Symphoniker and Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and will make a special return to the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, where he was Music Director until 2022.
Slobodeniouk opened the season with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in Tanglewood. He returned to the orchestra later in the season and appeared with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra in the spring.
In the opera pit, Slobodeniouk makes his debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper, where he conducts the revival of Calixto Bieito’s production of Boris Godunov.
